DayMarko Layvon Tolefree A.K.A DayMarko Coolin B.K.A Day Day was born October 2, 2000 in Danville Il. to Barbara Tolefree. He attended school at East Park, Southview, North Ridge and Danville High School. He loved football, basketball and even ran track. Day Day’s smile made others smile inside and out. His hilarious video’s with Devon, Jo’Siah and Will have all went viral, due to his humorous nature. He loved music; G-Herbo being his favorite artist and he loved the ladies young and old. DayMarko gained his wings May 8, 2018 at 2:02p.m. to the senseless act of gun violence.
Day Day leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother Barbara Tolefree, stepfather’s, Terrance Banks and Wilber Mattox, his beloved Pawpaw James Davis, his loving sisters, Keosha (Chris) Tolefee-Cowen, and Kyeisha Tolefree, his brother, Terrance Banks Jr., his baby brother, King Banks, His nephew, Karter Ameer Tolfree, his aunts, Janice Avant, Deloise Tolefree and Ernestine Tolefree, His uncle, John Ervin and a host of cousins and special friends.
DayMarko was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Debrah Tolefree-Turner and Grandfather Jerry Avant, his aunties JoAnna Tolefree-Fisher and Deloise Cookie Tolefree, his uncle’s Andre Tolefree, Michael Tolefree and Jerry Tolefree and his best friend DeVon MCClyde.
A Homegoing celebration will commence at 12 noon Saturday, May 19, 20108 at New Life Church of Faith 1514 N. Bowman St. Danville. Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating Pastor Bobby Keys. Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St. in charge of arrangements
