Willie Williams Obituary

Willie B. WIlliams made her transition from life Saturday, September 7, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Willie B.“B” Was born February 16, 1934 in Rosedale Mississippi to the union of Joe and Earnestine Foster. “B” was married to the late Henry Williams and in that union they had eleven children.

She was one of the four children of Joe Foster. Willie B. was always hard working and had a good sense of humor. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her children. She always cared for other people and had a strong love for kids. Willie was a church going women and she became the mother of the church Liberty Temple passed name Old Landmark. There she served as a Sunday school teacher. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23. She also worked for Urbana School District 116 as a bus driver. She always was employed at the Courier Cafe. She proceeded to retire from both jobs.

Willie leaves behind to celebrate her home going 4 daughters, Ruby Williams -Pates (Nathaniel) ,Anita Williams, and Rena Williams, her baby girl Andrea Williams. Her 5 sons, Willie B. Williams (Leatha), Floyd Williams (Linda) and Quintin Williams (Octavia), Herman Williams (Debra) and Sidney Williams. She also leaves over 30 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Willie B. was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, two sons, and three grandsons.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 11:00 a.m. Friday September 13, 2019, at the Church of the Living God, 312 E. Bradley Ave, Champaign, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating: Pastor Albert Lee. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
