William De'Andre Pinkton Sr.

William De'Andre Pinkton Sr. was born in Chicago to Priscilla Pinkton & William McKinney on September 3, 1979.

William was affectionately know as Deon to all that knew and loved him. Deon was the oldest of two siblings. His family moved to Danville in 1993, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Deon loved basketball and playing cards. William didn't have a church home, yet he loved the Lord.

He attended Danville High School. Deon was a man of many talents.

William leaves to cherish his memories to his mother; Priscilla Pinkton. Stepfather; Andrew Moore. Son; William De'Andre Pinkton, Jr. A lifetime friend; "His Boo-ker" Sabrina Jones. Two sisters; Dorothy "Cutie" Pinkton and Brittany McKinney. A special brother; Charles Pinkton. God siblings; Jazmine, Jayda, JaiShawna, Jermaine, and Javan Brooks. Two nephews; Romell Sims and Terrance Liggins, III, A niece; Jha'Kira Pinkton, and a Great Neice; Mylah Sims. Deon also leaves to cherish his memories, two special cousin's; Michael and Lamar Allen. A Godmother; Lashawanda Smith and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; William McKinney. Maternal grandparents; John H. and Dorothy Pinkton. Paternal grandparent; Willie Sr. and Irene McKinney.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm Saturday January 6, 2024 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville.
