William Keys Obituary

On Saturday, October 31,2020, William Henry Keys, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 74. He was born January 29,1946 in Bay Springs Mississippi to Mary Keys. He was married to his loving wife JoAnn (Profit) Keys and five children came from that union. 

William Keys enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling, listening to music, family time, watching western movies, and he also spent a lot of time reading his bible and spending time with the Lord. He retired from Bell Helmets. He was a great husband, provider, father and grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, three daughters; Catrenna Profit and Darla Keys both of  Danville,Illinois and Shari Keys of Decatur, Georgia, four sons; William Alan (I'esha) Keys, Joey Keysand  William Eric Keys of Danville, Illinois and Eric Lamar (Jennifer) Keys of Terre Haute, Indiana, two sisters; Velma Paige of Rantoul, Illinois and Thelma Paige of Arizona,  and a host of grandkids, great grandkids, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Keys, two brothers Eddie Paige and Jerry Paige, a sister Jessie Mae Paige and a grandson Davion Curry.

A celebration of life will commence 12PM, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, Danville, and visitation will be 11AM until the time of the service.  A public viewing will held 2-5PM, Friday, November 13, 2020 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home.  Officiating: Pastor Ricky Hoskins. Interment: Spring Hill Cemetery.

Due to COVID 19 restrictions, number in attendance will be enforced.
