Vaughn “Tank” Isom 47 of Indianapolis, IN formally of Danville, IL passed this life at 1:00 am Saturday Nov 27, 2021. Tank was born October 4, 1974 to William Isom and Mary Jo Ann Summers-Miles. Tank is Survived by one Sister Lynetta Miles of Indianapolis, In and two brothers Steven Summers and Demond(Candace)Miles both of Danville, IL. His soul mate Brenasha Strong who he loved very much. Two sons JaVaughn Isom of Danville, IL and Da-Correan Vaughn Isom-Mitchell of Detroit, MI. One daughter Serenity Faith Ray-Taylor of Indianapolis, IN. One granddaughter Ahlaia Lashel Shanae Isom. Bonus Children Camry Strong and Timothy Liggins.
He also leaves behind his favorite Aunt Yvonne “Moochie” Summers whom he loved dearly. His Uncles Doran “Roland” Summers and Howard Summers. Aunt Candy Summers. Two nieces JoAnna Miles of Katy, TX and Paige Stewart of Indianapolis, IN. One Nephew Kendall (Da’Shawna)Hocketta, of Italy. Tank also had an extended family the Miles family.
Tank loved thrifting and collecting trains. Tank loved to laugh and take care of his family. Tank never met a stranger and has left a lasting impression on all of our lives.  As a youth he played football for the Lincoln Raiders and GE Little League baseball. He employed at Goodwill Industries in Indianapolis, IN. Tank was loved by his community and had many close friends in Fair Oaks and Northend. David Grant, Theodore “Dink” Brown, Chris Hillsman, Tia Smith, Donnie Finch, Thomas “Pee-Wee” McClemore, and Freddie Bullock just to name a few.
Tank is preceded in death by both parents. A sister LaVonda Denise Miles. Grandparents James and Margaret Keys who raised him after the death of his mother. Grandfather Walter Joe Summers. Special grandparents Eddie and Littie Miles.

Homegoing celebration will commence on Monday December 13th at New Life Church of Faith 1419 Bowman Ave. Eulogist: Pastor Bobby Keys.Visitation will begin at 11 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery.
