Tyrone Tyrell Cunningham

Tyrone Tyrell Cunningham Sr., born to Patricia Joann Cunningham & Terry Rogers on June 23, 1972 in Danville, IL.  He attended Danville Public Schools, graduating from Danville High School in 1990 where he played football and ran track. Tyrone then joined the US Marines.

Tyrone enjoyed his family and friends, he loved to dance and cook, he had hoped to one day run his own catering business. Tyrone was an avid sports fan; his favorite team was the Chicago Bears. 

Tyrone left our midst on June 16, 2020. He leaves his great memories to his family; his mother; Patricia Joann of Danville, his father; Terry Rogers of Danville, IL. Sisters; Rose Marie, Terina of Danville, IL and Teresa of Indianapolis, IN. Brothers; John of Danville, IL and Terrance of Willow Springs, IL.  Daughters; Bahji (Gorman) of Danville, IL, Erin and Keegan of Orlando, FL., Alexis Joann  and Taelor Nicole of Ft. Dodge, IA. Sons; Tyrone and Tyler of Georgia, Doveon of Texas, and Jordan LeBron of Ft. Dodge, IA. Also, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Wence and Rosie Cunningham and a brother; Clarence Cunningham

A Private Homegoing Service that will be live streamed via Facebook will commence at 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St. Danville.   Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of service.  A public viewing will be from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the funeral home. 

DUE to COVID 19 regulations ALL family members and friends who plan to attend VIEWING are REQUIRED to practice extreme precaution by wearing protective mask, gloves and practicing social distancing.  Please be considerate of others, as only ten people will be allowed inside the funeral Home at a time.
