Tyree Antonio White

Tyree Antonio White was born on August 20, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri to Barbara Jean White and Clarence Bailey.

Tyree enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved to cook, he cooked with love! He could make something out of nothing and his “sauce” was always amazing. He completed trade school with the union becoming a journeymen carpenter. He had been a Union Carpenter with the local 243 since 2007, however he has been taking things apart and putting them back together all his life. He could fix anything, something he has passed down to his son. His outgoing personality and strong mind always made people smile. He loved to dress, loved his music and loved to step! He enjoyed supporting his children in everything that they did, they were his world! His love for his family could never be questioned. Tyree loved his family, but his greatest love and achievements were his children.

On January 15, 2022 Tyree Antonio White, 46, of Urbana, IL transitioned from this earth and left behind his love and memories for us all to cherish. He leaves behind two beautiful daughters and one handsome son whom he loved unconditionally, Olivia Ann Douglas, Amarah Jeanne’ White (daughters) and Emarion Tyree White (son). His grandchildren Antonio Parker, Ahlani Fenderson and one whom has not yet made her presence into this world. He has also left behind three loving sisters, Althea Johnson, Janina White and Lakisha Lawson. Three that were like brothers, Omar Johnson (nephew), Gregory Hugger (cousin) and Vincent Lee Hugger (cousin). Nephews Tyson, Taron, Daron and Jayson Utley. His girlfriend Cheryl Beavers and his children’s mother and friend Java Pollock as well as a host of family and friends.

Tyree was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Jean White, his maternal grandmother Virgie Lee Hugger and his maternal aunts along with other loved family members.
Tyree’s presence in this world will be mis'sed, but he is now at peace.

A Celebration of Life will commence at 1:00 pm on Saturday January 29, 2022 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 1215 W. Bradley Ave., Urbana. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
