Tilton Liggins

Tilton Liggins, 68 of Danville, passed this life at 8:03am December 10, 2010 at his residence. Tilton was born February 5, 1942 in Como, Mississippi to Validean Crowely and Aaron Liggins. He had a longtime companion Lorena Thomas. He was formerly married to Patricia Liggins. She Survives. Tilton retired in 2003 as the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor from Kmart after 40years of service. He was presently employed with Danville School District #118. Tilton enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family and friends. Tilton leaves to cherish his memory, Tilton Jr. (Lynn) of Vista, California, Terrance Liggins of Danville, Dave (Jennifer) Lyles of Memphis, Tennessee, Tilnetta Perkins of Danville, Renee Levingston of Danville, Gerald Anglin of Bloomington, Ronald (Kim) Pyror of Bentonville, Arkansas, Norman Anglin of Danville, Derric (Connie) Anglin of San Diego, California, Tyrone Thomas of Rockford, a sister Christine Williams of Memphis, Tennessee, 40 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew and nieces.
A Celebration of Life will commence Friday December 17, 2010 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 North Bowman Ave., Danville. Visitation will be held from 1-5pm Thursday December 16, 2010 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 East Williams Street, Danville. Officiating: Elder Lee Reed. Internment: Spring Hill Cemetery.
