Terrance Paul Houston

Terrance Paul Houston Sr. Aka Terry, 50 of Rantoul, IL was given to us on December 9,1970. Terry was the son of Jackie Lee Houston and Mary Dean Carroll. Our heavenly father reached out to call home our dearly departed child on October 11, 2021 at 9:32am at Carle Foundation Hospital. Terry accepted our lord and savior Jesus at a young age and was baptized by his grandfather Rev. Robert Carroll at Sunshine Missionary Baptist Church located in Chicago. He married his beautiful wife Robin Regina Holmes June 26,1993 in Chicago IL. and they shared 3 wonderful children together Christine,Terrance Jr., Ashley and one grandchild Carlos..   

Terry had a mystery about himself that kept everyone calm and always laughing about life. He last worked at Kraft Foods and also worked at Rantoul Products for 11 years. His hobbies were collecting antique cars and detailing on vehicles and after retiring on disability his other interests were landscaping properties as his side job. Terry also loved to read his bible daily while remembering all of his grandfather’s sermons. As a quote from terry we are the church not the building… He always kept himself read-up daily. 

Terry leaves to cherish his loving wife Robin- 3 children Chrissy, Jr, Ally and his grandson Carlos aka man-man. Mother Mary of Chicago, sister Jackie(Chester) Hicks of Champaign, brother Harold (Rachel) Wetzel of Chicago. Brother in laws: Micheal (Regina) from Ohio, Keith(Jeazell) from Milwaukee, Maurice from Rantoul. Sister in law: Valerie from Rantoul, Mechelle from Florida. Nieces: Jocelyn, Jacara, Tailia. Great nieces: Justice,Kamora. Nephews: John, Chemar, Tyrese, Tyjuan, Tyler,Tylen. Great nephews: Kevin, Jaylen. And a host of cousins and friends! 
 

A Homegoing Celebration will Commence at 12:00 Noon on October 22, 2021 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 1215 W. Bradley Ave. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow after at Lincoln Cemetery. 
 

Masks will be required.
