Tammy B. Fields

On October 13, 1962 a fiery star was born to Harry and Roberta (Myratt) Alexander.  One look at her and the name Tammy was chosen. Tammy’s bright smile and outgoing spirit captured the heart of Marvin Fields to whom Tammy married on January 26th. From that union twin sons were born.  The names given were Marvin L. Jr. and Marshall L. Fields. Tammy loved to talk; she had a fast tongue and was one tough woman. She never met a stranger. Her laughter brought many smiles. Tammy leaves to cherish her loving spirit, sons Marvin Jr. and Marshall, 8 grandchildren: Marshall Jr, Jimmy, Najea, Damarea, Lajireh, Auquisha and India. Tammy had 1 sister, Carolyn and 2 brothers, Dwayne and Hayes. She had 3 nieces, Lisa (Lista), Lori and Lila (Lullabell). There is a host of great-nieces and great-nephews that will cherish her memories . Tammy had 2 longtime friends Verna Smith and cousin Rickie Gaines.

A Home Going Celebration will commence at 11:00 am Monday February 24, 2020 at New Life Church Of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave, Danville. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the time of the service. Officiating Pastor Thomas Miller. Leek & Sons will be in charge of arrangements.
