Tamesha Knox Obituary

Tamesha Michelle Knox was born January 10, 1979 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Audrey J. Knox and Ernest Knox.  Tamesha received her education in the Southfield Public School System in Southfield, Michigan where she graduated.

Tamesha accepted Christ at a young age. She attended New Prospect Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan with her grandmother Hattie Elizabeth Knox whom she loved and cherished dearly. Her grandmother was her spiritual guidance.

Tamesha loved helping people. She volunteered at various food pantries and started her own food pantry that she ran for many years. Getting food to the needy was her mission and a pleasure for her; and she did it with a big smile and love, knowing she was helping many people.

Tamesha heart was big as gold. If you were hungry, she fed you. No matter how many people, they were welcome at her table. She enjoyed cooking, and was known throughout the community as the best cook ever.

Tamesha loved her family, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them within her power.  She always made sure they were okay.  The same love she gave to them, they gave back to her.  She loved, loved her children, and was very protective and proud of them.

She was feisty and full of love and life.  She will be greatly missed by her Family, Friends, community, and many others.
