Shushone Denise Brown went home to be with the lord and those who have gone on before her on October 10th, 2024, and claimed the mansion that god prepared for her.
Shushone was born on July 3rd, 1979 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois to the union of Edward and Frances Brown. She was the Third oldest of Five children. Two Brothers, Edward Brown Jr and Lance Brown and Two Sisters, Tyquon Brown and Jhone Brown. Shushone and her siblings was brought up in Greater Jerusalem church at a young age. Everyone knew Shushone had a passion for dancing when she was younger, so when she attended Centennial High School she later created a dance group called “Many shades one vision.” She then attended Adult Ed where she later got her certification in typing.
Shushone Loved spending time with her Children,family, and friends. She was the life of the party every room she stepped in she made it light up. When anyone had a problem they came to her she would never judge you and was always an open ear, She was the type of person to open up her home to anyone in need. Shushone was the comedian of the family she loved to joke around and tease everyone but everyone knew it was all love.
Shushone leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Naja Burden (Kolby) of (Champaign IL,) Amaria Burden of (South bend IN,) Sanjaya Brown and Janae Leach of (Urbana IL,) Her one grandson: Keyontae Burden, Her siblings: Tyquon Brown, Edward Brown Jr, Jhone Brown (Patrick) and Lance Brown, (All of Urbana,IL.) And her parents: Frances Brown And Edward Brown of (Champaign-Urbana,IL) And, a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Leek & Sons- Urbana. Visitation will begin at 11am until the start of the service. Officiating Rev. Michael Wright. Burial East Lawn Cemetery.
