Samuel “Spud” Davis was born in Memphis TN on May 16, 1969 to Samuel Smith and Velma Perryman.
His Hobbies included BBQ’n, hanging with his loved ones, enjoying life on his porch, fishing and listening to music.
Spud was a loving son, father, brother, grandpa, cousin, uncle, and friend.
His memories are cherished by his daughter Taleya D. Thomas of Defiance,OH, two grandsons Elijawon Battle and Elizhamarr Battle, his son Martez Davis all of Urbana IL, a Granddaughter Jersi Danae Davis. His sister Benita Smith, his brother Glenn Perryman, his grandmother Mary Jackson, a close cousin Corey Jackson, a close aunt Shirley Perryman, two close uncles Terry Jackson and Jerry Jackson. A close friend Antatius “Bone” Clark, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A Private Homegoing Service that will be live streamed via Facebook will commence at 11:00 a.m Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home. Officiating: Pastor Linda Cooper. Viewing will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at the funeral home.
