Roberta Frazier

Roberta Frazier was born the 9th of 9 children on September 26, 1934 and raised in Webb, Mississippi by the late Winnie and Louis Davis.

Roberta attended school in Bell, MS and in 1955 she moved to Champaign, IL where she married the love of her life Robert Frazier and joined Morning Star Freedom Baptist Church.

Roberta enjoyed spending time with family and going to churchit was very important to her. She was a very hard-worker as a housekeeper for years.

Roberta went home to be with the Lord on Saturday May 28, 2022 after 87 years on this earth. 

Roberta was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. 

Preceding her in death are her grandparents Jimmie and Lorraine Shephard, parents Louis and Winnie Davis, her late husband Robert Frazier, son Leo Frazier, 4 sisters Mariah Pernell, Alberta Upshaw, Rosie Lee Briggs, and Inez Wilson and 2 brothers Allen and Joe Davis.

Those left to cherish her memory include 2 brothers, W.S and James Davis, 2 daughters Mary Reeves, and Diane Hunt. 7 grandchildren, a special grandchild Ashley Reeves, 15 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
 

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Friday  June 10,2022 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 1215 W. Bradley Ave, Urbana. Eulogist: Pastor John Staples. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the end of the service.  Burial will follow after at Woodlawn Cemetery.
