Robert "Main" Bryant

Robert Earl Bryant aka “Main” was born June 12, 1965 in Epes Alabama. He was 8 out of 9 children.

Robert confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age. He attended Danville High School and played kickball.

Robert would ride his bike everywhere and when he went long distance he made sure that the city bus had a spot for his bike.

Robert was very dependable and a hard worker. He loved doing yard work as if it was a master piece. He kept a smile on his face and was friendly to everyone. He always had jokes even if he was the only one laughing.

On March 4, 2021 Robert received his wings and transitioned to heaven. He was preceded in death by his father Roosevelt Bryant Sr. and his brother Henry Watt.

He leaves to cherish with many great memories a loving devoted mother Francis M. Bryant of Danville. 4 sisters; Louis (Tollie) Hutchings of Ohio, Shirley (Leon) Pierce of California, Rosie Gouard of Indiana, Sherrie (Steve) Belleville IL., 4 brothers Airfornia (Alesia) Bryant of Danville, Roosevelt Bryant Jr. of Rantoul, Johnny Bryant of Danville. 4 daughters: Anna Bryant, Francis Bryant, Ciana Bryant, Iesha Bryant, and 1 son Darrius Bryant all of Danville, and he was "Papa" to 12 grandchildren.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Saturday March 13, 2021 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St., Danville. Eulogist: Apostle Charles Hargrove. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be follow after at Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville.

A public viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday March 12, 2021 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home.
