Robert Douglas Jr.

Robert Douglas, Jr. was born on May 22, 1964 in Champaign, IL to the union of Robert Douglas, Sr. (Lynda) and Carol Pierce. He received his heavenly wings on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

At an early age, Robert left Champaign, IL and resided in Milwaukee, WI until his homegoing.

Robert enjoyed nice cars, dressing in his sporty attire and spending time with family and friends which he cherished most of all.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three brothers, Terry Pierce of Minnesota, Andrew Hall and Kevin Hall both of Illinois; two sisters, Angie Douglas of Wisconsin and Kim Hall of Texas; two aunts, Mary Ann Day and Lillie Douglas both of Illinois; one uncle, Elmer Douglas of Illinois; beloved children, Sereida Melker, Precious Douglas and Robert Douglas IV of Tennessee, Steven Douglas and Shamere Douglas of Illinois and Daeshine Carter of Wisconsin; precious grandchildren; many brothers and sisters in the families of Douglas, Couch, Chatman, Warden and Grier; and, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by three sisters, Cheryl Hall, Robin Way and Sharmella Douglas; one uncle, Clem Pierce; and grandparents, Ruby and Archie Douglas and Helen and Clem Pierce, Sr.

A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 Noon Friday August 25, 2023 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 1215 W. Bradley Ave., Urbana. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will commence at 1:30 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery.
