Randall “Randy” Lamar Cleveland, 37, left this world on Wednesday August 10, 2022. He was born October 14, 1984 in Danville, IL to the late James and Laura Mae (Withers) Cleveland.
Randy was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized there at a young age. Everyone who knew Randy loved Randy. He was always joyous and had a smile on his face. He loved giving big bear hugs. Randy grew up enjoying baseball and was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. As a young child he played baseball at Producers Park.
The true love of Randy’s life was his daughter A’Laura Cleveland. He loved her so much and she loves her daddy. Randy had a bonus daughter A’Aleah Hillsman. He loved her as if she was his own and she loves him.
Randy leaves to cherish his memory his daughter A’Laura, his sisters Valeree (Larry) Cross and Jamie Cleveland. His Nephews Larry (Julie) Cross II, Devon (Shantae) Cross, Gabriel Cross, Dionte’ Dopson and Diondre’ Cleveland. His bonus children A’Aleah Hillsman and Amarion Cleveland. A host of Aunts and Uncles and cousins, His “Crew” C.L. Dye Jr., Donnie Finch, Jarell Williams, Deontrae Warren, Clinton Dye, Demond Myles and William Pinkton.
Randy is proceeded in death by his parents, parternal grandparents Northern and Mattie Cleveland l, and maternal grandparents Julius and Hestaline Withers.
A Celebration of Life will commence at 12:00 Noon on Saturday August 20, 2022 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville Eulogist: Derrick Lipscomb. A visitation will beginat 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Spring Hill Cemetery.
A public viewing will be held at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville Friday August 19, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
