Our beloved Prentiss M. D. Jackson, Jr. was born September 2, 2003 to the proud parents of Prentiss M. D. Jackson, Sr. and Charmelle S. Johnson in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the eldest of seven children.
Prentiss was baptized January 11, 2015 at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Centennial High School and from there he went to Adult Ed to obtain his high school diploma which unfortunately he didn’t get the chance to finish due to his untimely death. He attended Upward Bound Program. He worked for the DREAAM Program with Mr. TracyDace and was a member of the Boyz 2 Men Programwith Wayne Turner and the Goal Getters Program with Sheldon Turner. From a young age Prentiss would spend his summers in St. Louis with his family. This is something he looked forward to. He really enjoyed being with family. He was the playful, cool, laid-back cousin. He enjoyed playing basketball. You could find him rapping or singing songs. Let’s not forget he was a bug (lol), always wanting someone to send him a cash app, but would swear he was rich. Prentiss was the one to keep in contact with all his siblings, family and friends. These last few years you could find him at his Godmother’s Charmeika house with his friends and cousins. Prentiss will be greatly missed.
