Paul Joseph Woods

Paul Joseph Woods 58 of Danville, passed this life at 8:33 a.m. Tuesday November 28, 2023 in Chicago Il. Paul was born November 17, 1965 in Danville Il. the son of Robert and Anna Hall Woods Sr. 

Paul was a Danville High School graduate. He was a former member of Union Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed reading his bible, sports, spending time with family and friends and walking around admiring the city of Danville.

He is survived by five brothers; Robert (Bridgette) Woods,Thomas (Cheryl) Woods and Danny Woods all of Danville,Willie Woods of Tupelo, MS. and Jerry (Deila) Woods of Dallas TX. Four sisters; Shirley (Frank) Ketter, Christine Woods, Gail Woods and Judy Woods all of Danville, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Paul was proceeded in death by his parents and his sister Tracy Woods.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 noon Saturday December 16, 2023 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St. Danville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Eulogist: Pastor Ricky Hoskins.
