Ozell Williams Jr.

Ozell Williams Jr. 78 of Danville Illinois passed this life Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, in the city he made his home. Ozell was born on the first day month of January in 1945. He is the son of the proud parents of Uzell Williams and Elizabeth McCain Williams.

Mr. Ozell Williams Jr. attended George R. Ellis High School in Munford Tennessee. Mr. Ozell Williams was a Lab Tech at General Motors Powertrain in Tilton, Illinois until he earned his
retirement. Ozell enjoyed many things in life some of those were fishing, cooking, and all sports. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ozell Williams Jr. accepted Our Lord Savoir Christ at an early age which led him to be a remarkable man.

Ozell was preceded in passing by his wife Kelen G. Briggs, a daughter in early life, and his brother.

He leaves to cherish his memories; a daughter Angela L. White of Danville, Illinois two sons Keithe L Williams of Memphis, Tennessee, and Octayvious Carmikel of Danville, Illinois. Four brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren, and a host of others including nieces, nephews, cousins and great-grandchildren, and friends who will follow in his name and steps.

A Homegoing celebration will commence at 11:00 A.M.  Saturday, June 10, 2023, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Avenue Danville, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Eulogist, Bishop Michael Walker Sr.
