Nadia Dezeiona Walker

Nadia Dezeiona Walker, a lovely angel on Earth and now in Heaven, transitioned from Earth to Heaven to be with her Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, Illinois at 5:33 P.M.

Nadia 7, was born September 09, 2011 in Danville, Illinois. The daughter of LaVonna Brown and Demarco Walker Sr. Nadia also known as “Cuckoo.” Nadia was in the first grade at Garfield Elementary School.

Cuckoo enjoyed dancing, singing, doing make up, doing flips, playing mom with her sisters and brother, coloring, attending school and doing homework, going to church, and she loved playing with her sisters, brother, cousins, and friends.

Nadia leaves to cherish her precious memories; her mother LaVonna (Lil Mama) Brown, father Demarco Walker Sr., two brothers Daquan and Demarco Jr.; seven sisters Destiny, Sheir, Carizma, Serenity, Porsha, Roialty, and Demara; maternal grandfather Marcelle Brown, maternal grandmother LaVonna Crosby Brown, paternal grandfather Mitchell Walker Sr., paternal grandmother Ruby BoBo; great grandmother Cellie Bobo; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Nadia was proceeded in death by her maternal great grandparents Sam Sr. & Addie Mae Keys Crosby, her cousins Deziray & Seiona, two maternal great aunts, a maternal great uncle, and paternal great grandfather Willie BoBo; and three paternal great uncles.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 noon Monday February 25, 2019 at New Jerusalem Church of Jesus Christ Outreach Ministries 1033 N. Walnut St. Danville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A public viewing will be from 12-3 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St. Danville. Officiating: Pastor Bobby Keys. Interment will be at Sanhill Memorial Park.
