Miriam F. Hill, our beloved and beautiful sister, was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2026, at the age of 58.
Miriam was born on September 21, 1967, to her loving parents, the late Annie M. Hill of Whiteville, North Carolina, and the late Lee D. Hill of Alvin, Illinois. She was the youngest of four children and was blessed with three devoted brothers: Lester West of Atlanta, Georgia; Edward West of Champaign, Illinois; and David West of Rantoul, Illinois.
Miriam had a deep love for life and for the people around her. She was social, kind-hearted, and had a wonderful ability to connect with others. Like her parents, she was creative, hardworking, and talented with her hands. She found joy in sewing, cooking, and caring for those she loved. Her warm personality, sense of humor, and compassionate spirit touched the lives of many.
Miriam will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will forever remain in our hearts. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her beloved parents, and resting in the loving presence of Almighty God.
