Obituary
Michael Ray Hurt (Mikey) went to heaven to be with his loved ones on March 27, 2023. Mikey was born to Grace Porter-Hurt and John Bromley on Jan 8, 1955 in Danville Illinois.
He attended Danville schools and worked at various jobs in the area including Mervis, CCL, Pape funeral home and Logan appliances.
Mikey was a quiet person and always had a smile. He loved to go fishing with his buddy Daisy Ford and Rufus Forrest. Mikey leaves to cherish his memory, his son William Bell, the love of his life Alice Donald, two sisters Mary (Bobby) Morton, Cora Jeanette (Bishop Sam) Carter, and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mikey was preceded in death by 3 brothers George, Bobby, Paul Hurt and both his parents.
A memorial service will commence at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday April 5, 2023 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St, Danville.
