Michael Duckworth

Michael Duckworth 49 of Danville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 11, 2020. Michael was born on January 22, 1971 in Danville to Eugene Duckworth and Vertina Duckworth (Moffett) of N. Charleston, SC.

Michael attended Danville schools and attended DACC where he received his diploma. As a child Michael played youth football and Little League baseball. He enjoyed watching sports, fishing, barbecuing, spending time with family, watching comedies as well as being the comedian. He worked for Menasha corporation where he worked as a Fork Lifter. He was also a member of New Union Baptist Church.

Michael united with Anna Duckworth(Woods) On September 10, 2010.

Michael leaves to cherish his wife, his mother, his children Brianna Duckworth, Michael Duckworth, Davion Duckworth, Christopher Duckworth, Tylan Allen, and Montrice Short. Ten Grandchildren, His sisters Vicki Wright( N. Charleston SC),Vera Taylor (Charles) (Fayetteville NC), Verna Mitchell (Bloomington IL), and Brother Mitchell Duckworth(N. Charleston SC). A Special niece Kristyna Nelson (Niecey Boo), Special friends Chris Collier, Aaron Williams, Mark Hill, Wilene Bibb, Toni Phipps, Isaiah Bibb, and Jason Parker. A host of nieces and nephews. And his two dogs Teeny and Tiny.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Eugene Duckworth and two sisters Donna Blanding and Darlene Duckworth, and his Paternal and Maternal grandparents.

Due to COVID-19 restraints the funeral services for Michael Duckworth has been canceled for Saturday March 21, 2020. A Memorial Services will be rescheduled at a later date.
