Marie “Ree Ree” Glover

Marie “Ree Ree” Glover 48, of Danville, IL transitioned from this life on September 1st 2021 at at Carle Hospital where she was surrounded by family and friends. Marie was born February 12th 1973 to Helen Keys and the late Luke Glover Jr. Marie moved to Rantoul, IL in 1982 where she went and graduated at RTHS from there she moved to Champaign, IL in 2003.

Marie was the life of the party! She enjoyed her family gatherings, cooking, helping others, and her plants. Marie was very outspoken. She joined a motorcycle club called “Tre Chic” and she loved that club. She was just like her father Luke “Cat Daddy”. 

Marie leaves behind to cherish her memories to her mother Helen Keys of Rantoul,IL  2 Daughter Breunna Glover and Ranija Brown and 1 son Tyree Glover all of Urbana,IL 2 granddaughters Heavenly Marie Glover and Nyla Griffin and 1 grandson Jordan Glover all of Urbana,IL 1 Godson Davion Allen of Bloomington,IL 4 sisters LaTasha Keys Johns of Evanston,IL Tameeka Keys and Capree Keys both of Urbana,IL Corie Porter Newson of Bloomington,IL 3 brothers Anthony Keys and Albert Keys both of Urbana,IL Maurice Porter of Danville,IL 1 aunt Connie Keys of Urbana,IL 1 uncle Maxie Ray Keys of Urbana,IL 12 nephews, 14 nieces, 8 great-nephews 10 great-nieces 1 brother in law Carlton Johns of Evanston,IL 1 sister in law Gladys Matthews of Champaign,IL and a host of friends. 

Marie was preceded in death by her father Luke Glover Jr and step-mother Patricia Glover, Step-father Albert Patton of Little Rock,Ark. Uncle Charles Keys and Errin Johnson both of Danville,IL Mother in Law Clara Gray, Aunt Carolyn Keys, Aunt Billie Ruth Keys all of Rantoul,IL Marilyn Keys of Danville,IL Grandparents Creola Rayfield Johnson of Danville,IL Annie May Duckworth, Divine Keys both of Danville,IL 2 sisters Angela Keys and Rachel Keys both of Danville,IL Twanda Lydsen Kirby of Mississippi 2 nephews Isihia Keys and Kendall Spicer both of Champaign,IL

Marie was loved by all. 
 

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Saturday September 11, 2021 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Eulogist: Pastor Bobby Keys. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Sanhill Memorial Park.

Masks will be required.
