Marcus L. Williams was born on September 3, 1987, to the late Marlon and Wanda Williams in Chicago, IL. He was currently living in Kokomo, IN and was employed by Kokomo Alloy. Marcus loved to showcase his unique style and personality by wearing hats.
1st Quarter
Marcus begins tackling this thing called life. He briefly attended Chicago Public Schools until his family moved to Danville, IL. Marcus attended Danville High School where he played the game he loved - football. At Danville High School, he was able to establish some lifetime friendships which led to them being his “Boys” - Tim Leek and Demaree’ Tetter. It was because of these friendships he was able to gain an additional mother and sister, Donnetta and Markea Tetter.
2nd Quarter
Marcus began playing college football in California. As the quarter proceeds, Marcus continues to tackle his manhood on the defensive side of life and make major tackles with sacks. During this time, Marcus became a proud uncle to Mario. As the plays in his life continue to change, Marcus becomes a father to Lil’ Marcus, his Running Back.
3rd Quarter
Marcus met his beautiful cheerleader, Tamika and two major players were born - Jayden (Tight End) and Tyler (Cornerback). A trade was made and he gained a Wide Receiver, Zion (Cry Cry). He loved his players like he loved the Dallas Cowboys.
4th Quarter
It’s all or nothing to win the game and get Marcus’ name into the Hall of Fame. With 6 minutes and 19 seconds left on the clock, Marcus makes his last touch down.
The love Marcus had for his family was remarkable. From the earliest days of his life, Marcus demonstrated an unwavering dedication to his family. He was full of life and had no enemies.
Marcus leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Tamika; three sons, Lil’ Marcus, Jayden and Tyler; mother, Wanda Williams; brother, Marlon Williams; sister Yvonne (Donavan) Parker; special sister, Nakea Bates; special little brother/son, Zion Hardimon; and, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
