Latavious Gi'ovanti Wilson

Latavious Gi’ovanti (Tavo) Wilson, 15, of Danville, IL transitioned into eternal peace
on Monday, December 20th, 2021, at Elkhart General Hospital in Elkhart, IN. It was
unexpected to us but according to God’s perfect plan and time.

Latavious was born in Danville, IL on September 1, 2006 to Angela Stewart and Cor-
nelius Wilson. Latavious loved being loved on and spoiled by family. He loved watch-
ing his cartoons (Tom & Jerry) and would ignore you while his favorite TV shows
were on. Latavious especially loved chilling with his Papa and sitting with his legs
crossed on his Papa’s lap watching the news. He had a big smile that would lighten
up any room and the hearts of many. Latavious was the heart and center of his fami-
ly’s life. He will truly be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Latavious will be missed forever by his mother, Angela Stewart and Michael Boone
(special friend); father, Cornelius Wilson; sisters, Jorriel Stewart, Josclyn Stewart and
twin sister, Tavianna Wilson; brothers, Jalyn, Cornelius Jr. and Dontrell Wilson; grand-
parents, Ivory and Carolyn Stewart; uncle, Keinon Stewart; nephews, A’Jayceon and
Jru; niece, Ajani; and, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

Latavious was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Shirley Wilson and
Joe Laster; great grandparents, Jimmy and Ruth Sanford; uncle, Tyler Wilson; aunts,
Brenda Morris and Sylvia Wilson; and cousins, Edward and Martez Wilson.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence @ 12noon Monday, January 3, 2022 at New Life

Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave, Danville.  Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. until time

of Service.  Officiating: Pastor John Herring.   Leek & Sons Funeral home in Charge.
