Larry Lavan Adams, Jr. was born on October 11, 1969, in Chicago, IL to loving parents, Larry Lavan Adams and Sybil Debora Johnson.
Larry was a caring and loving person, not to mention friendly. He could meet people anywhere and instantly they fell in love with his kind heart.
Larry had many passions. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed cooking, art, music, poetry, watching sports with his father and movies with his sister, Sybil. Making people laugh was one of his specialties. He could turn anything into a joke and have you crying with laughter.
Before his passing, Larry was accepted into a program to obtain his CDL. He was so excited about becoming a Truck Driver and he couldn’t wait to start the next adventure in his life.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Sybil Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Larry Adams, Sr.; his sisters, Sybil Johnson and Jamilya Adams; two aunts, Mary Hall and Cora Ball; one uncle, James Adams; two special women in his father’s life, Lorraine Cowart and Rosetta Overbay; three cousins that he called brothers, Sherman Hilliard, DuMauria Alexander and Charles James; his best friend, Issac Velez; and, a host of family and friends.
