Kiara U. Clark, 14, of Peachtree, Georgia, formerly of Urbana, Illinois, passed away on October 22, 2025. Born on April 1, 2011, in Urbana. Kiara was the cherished daughter of Amy Clark (Champaign, IL) and Tylor Clark (Peachtree GA) and the beloved sister of Arieanna Barbosa (Champaign, IL) and Aubrey Rutherford (Dubuque, IA).
Lovingly known as Kiki or Honey Bunny, Kiara brought warmth, joy, and positivity to all who knew her. Her radiant smile and kind spirit had the power to lift hearts and brighten any room. A recent graduate of Calvary Lutheran, she took immense pride in her academic accomplishments and the many awards she earned, including recognition on the honor roll.
Kiara’s school years were filled with enthusiasm and creativity. She thrived on the basketball court, soccer field, demonstrating both athleticism and teamwork. Her artistic soul found expression in drawing, jewelry-making, singing with the school choir, and performing in community theater productions. She also loved reading and dreamed of becoming a marine biologist one day. In her limited spare time, she enjoyed spending time at fish aquariums and amusement parks.
She is survived by her maternal grandparents Randal and Lani Primmer (Champaign, IL), paternal grandparents Gregory Clark (St. Joseph, IL), and Lisa Clark (Fayetteville, GA), five aunts, two uncles, great-grand mother Lucille Clark (Urbana, IL), great aunts and uncles and a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grand father Jesse D. Clark, Jr., and one cousin.
Kiara’s memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday November 1, 2025 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 1215 W. Bradley Ave., Urbana, with Rev. Kent Redmon officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
