Kendall Jones Obituary

Kendall Khalif Jones was born 6/29/1988 in Champaign, IL to his parents Wanda Hampton and Kenny Ray Jones both of Champaign IL.
As as kid Kendall played baseball and enjoy playing basketball. Every summer he played in the Gusmackers and boy did he think he was Jordan or somebody.
Kendall attended Urbana and Centennial high school. He spent his high school years living with his dad where they created a very tight father/son bond.
Kendall would later go and receive his G.E.D. It was at Urbana high school where he met his long time girlfriend Whitney Cooper.
Kendall fathered four kids Aliyah, Kendall Jr, Kendley, and Kaylee Jones. While incarcerated Kendall received his Culinary Certificate and
didn't miss a chance to show his family how well and how much he loved cooking. Kendall often got his family together just to cook and his specialty was steaks
and oh let me not forget that he was Mr. Benny Crocker too because he thought he could bake and I mean he can do a little something something.
Kendall was a wild and free spirit who loved spending time with all his family and most definitely his kids, boy did he love his babies and would do and give anything
just to see them smile. Kendall tried to be the best father he could while living.
In 2019 Kendall set down and wanted more for his life and his family. He started coming up with ways to go legit and give his family something to be proud of
and that WE ARE. In 2020 Kendall legitimized his business in Lawn Care called WE DO IT ALL (WDIA) and had started to put his all into it and whatever he didn't know his
step father William Hampton was willing and able to show him. They spent many hours and days fixing equipment or out doing jobs or just bonding in general.
On Saturday September 11th 2021 Kendall Khalif Jones 33, answered the lords call and made his transition from this life of uncertainty into everlasting
JOY, PEACE, and HAPPINESS.
Kendall leaves to cherish his wonderful parents Wanda Hampton and Kenny Ray Jones (Monica Jones) his step dad William Hampton.
His four amazing kids Aliyah, Kendall Jr., Kendley, and Kaylee Jones. His two Loving sisters Okeima Hampton and Charlease Hampton, and five down to ride brothers
Justis Sayles-Jones, Jacob Hampton, Randall Williams, Delwin Brown and last but not least Kenny "Mack" Jones. One niece Keniece Jones and two nephews Kobe Brown and Dennez Alexander.
He also leaves a host of aunts and uncles and lots of cousins.
Kendall was preceded in death by both grandmothers Gertude Brown and Gussie M Jones. Both grandpas Benny Brown and Nepolian Jones Jr.
