Keeva N. Keeling entered this earthly realm, September 6, 1978, in Champaign, IL; and, she transitioned to the Heavenly realm on August 9, 2022. She was preceded in the life of immortality by her parents, Robert Sr., and Joanne Keeling, and she was also preceded by both her paternal and maternal grandparents. “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (I Corinthians 15:53) Keeva graduated from Central High School in Champaign, IL, Class of ‘97. She was organized and had the gift of administration, utilizing her skills in the professional arena while working for the Champaign Park District for many years. She will be truly missed by her co-workers.
Keeva had several hobbies, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. In the reading category, she especially enjoyed reading books by black authors; and in the traveling category, cruises were her favorite. When it came to family and friends, she cherished all the beautiful moments that she could. Keeva had a sincere relationship with God, which was displayed through her daily life. She was a devoted member of the Touching and Changing Lives Ministry, where she wrote many hats. She had a passion for the young people and loved working with the youth. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Keeva leaves to celebrate her life her siblings, Robert L. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”
