Joshua (Jay) Jermaine Forman 36, of Danville IL. went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2022. He was born on October 9, 1985 in Danville to Robert Forman and Doretha Hill.
Joshua attended New Kingdom Christian Church. He also attended Danville Schools and completed his GED. Growing up Joshua enjoyed playing football for the cowboys and playing basketball. He was a very outgoing person and loved to have fun. He also enjoyed bowling as well as hanging out with his best friend/ brother Roderick (Rocky) Green. Joshua was very creative he loved to rap and write his own music.
Joshua worked various factory jobs and he also worked at Berry’s Gardens. He enjoyed landscaping and being out outdoors. He loved to spend time with his son Sincear (BJ) Forman, family, and friends. Joshua was a people person and loved everyone. He never met a stranger and everyone loved his company. He had an affectious smile and his presence would light up a room.
Joshua leaves to cherish his memories with his parents Robert Forman and Doretha (Mark) Hill. His son Sincear (BJ) Forman, Grandmother Peggy Forman, Siblings; Neal (Dacia) Dixon, Michael Dixon, Danny Dixon, Jackie Dixon, Robert Forman Jr., Latricia Forman, Willie Forman, John Forman, Robin Forman, Lamar Forman, and Roderick (Rocky) Green. Special cousins Chris Dixon and Yolanda Rowell. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Joshua was preceded in death his maternal grandparents Pinnie Rowell and Eugene Rowell. Uncles; Benny Joe Newsome, Hollis Dixon, and Courtland Rowell. His paternal grandfather Pastor Willie Forman. Uncles Joshua Forman and Billie Forman. Cousins Taneesha Moore, Anthony Carter, and Jewel Forman.
A Celebration of Life will commence at 12:00 Noon Saturday April 9, 2022 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville. Eulogist: Pastor Norvell Crider. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Springhill Cemetery.
A public viewing will be held on Friday April 8, 2022 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
