Jordan Michael Valdez-Parrish,29, of Danville, Illinois passed this life at 9ꓽ09pm Sunday, January 19th, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center. Jordan was born January 16, 1991 to Kevin L. Parrish and Susan Valdez, both of Danville, Illinois. Jordan attended Moisés E. Molina High School in Duncanville, TX. Jordan moved back to Danville, IL in his late adolescence, where he made an extraordinary impact on those he loved and cared for.
Jordan was a tough, spirited young man that was deeply cherished by his family and close friends. Jordan's personality was incredibly bright. His smile was infectious to all that came across his path. He made sure to always offer his shoulder to cry on but would turn bad situations into life lessons. Jordan was able to express himself through music, and had many notebooks full of unfinished rhymes, possible mixtape names & features, etc. Jordan’s imagination was wildly creative and was cherished by his family. His spirit will continue to illuminate the hearts of all who loved him.
Jordan’s family will forever cherish their fond memories with him. He is survived by his son; Cailin Crockett of Danville, IL; father Kevin Parrish and stepmother Melinda Parrish of Danville, IL; sisters Korrina L. Parrish, Kennencia L. Parrish, and Karae L. Parrish all of Danville, IL; uncles Morris Parrish of Defiance, OH, Samuel Parrish of Jackson, MS, and Kelly Parrish of Tampa, FL; and his beloved aunt Rhonda Parrish of Danville, IL. Jordan is preceded in death by; grandparents Betty Lou Parrish and Samuel Elias Parrish of Danville, IL; uncle Stacy Parrish of Carbondale, IL; and aunt Ethel Louise Washington.
A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Friday January 31, 2020 at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Danville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Officiating Pastor Bobby Keys.
