Jean Helen Coe, 77, was born the 7th of 10 Children to Bessie and James T. Coe in Covington, TN.
She attended Frazier School in Covington, TN and graduated from Danville High School. She gave her life to Christ at a young age and was a very active member in her church. Jean was a
Trustee and a member of the choir at Mt. Zion M.B. Church now known as Word of Life.
She retired from Tee-Pak after working there 35 years as a Shirring Operator where she had an outstanding work ethic and excellent attendance.
Jean was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was supportive of everyone had a great sense of humor. She was very soft spoken and was easy to talk to. She enjoyed spending
time with family, going to Bible study, listening to Jimmy Swaggart, getting her hair done, shopping and cooking.
Jean leaves to cherish her memory, 3 children, Karen (Terry) Forman of Danville, IL, Twyla Coe of Indianapolis, IN and Troy Coe of Champaign, IL; 14 Grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2
great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marie Smith and Beatrice Cunningham both of Danville; 1 brother, George Coe of Covington, TN; sister-in-law, Sandra Coe; bonus daughter, Roseanne
Reed; caregiver, Shanyia Smth; and, a host of friends and relatives. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Bessie Coe and James T. Coe; 5 brothers, Willie Coe, Al J. Coe, John H. Coe,
James Mack Coe and William B. Taylor; sister Freddie M. Morris; grandchild, Troy Coe Jr.; and, 2 great-grandchildren, Jacoby Bates Jr. and Legacy Coe.
A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 Noon August 9, 2024 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave., Danville. Eulogist: Apostle Charles Hargrove. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Spring Hill Cemetery.
