Irene Yvette Williams

Irene Yvette Williams was born on November 26, 1985, in Minneapolis, MN to Claxton Harmon and Irene Williams.

She was the youngest child of 15 brothers and sisters and loved by many. Irene grew up most of her youth years in Danville Illinois and Minneapolis MN. She transitioned to Indianapolis IN in 2005 and lived there until her passing in April 2022.

Irene was a very beautiful young lady who loved smiling and was always in the mirror brushing her hair. Irene loved being around her family and friends and being supportive to them if they needed her. Irene loved giving warm hugs when she came around and she was very strong minded especially when it came to what she wanted. Irene enjoyed home cooked meals and spending time with her family.

Irene was always filled with bright smiles and laughter when you seen her. She loved dressing up in nice clothes and getting her hair done. She was very energetic, outgoing, loved to talk to any and everyone and she could be very humorous at times. Irene was very strong minded and had no problem defending herself if she needed to. She loved spending time with her newborn son and bragged about how she was going to be a wonderful mother to him.

She will be joined in heaven by her brother Derrick Williams and her father Claxton Harmon Williams.   

Leaving to cherish Irene behind is Mis Spencer, Tai Williams, Damon (Adam) Williams and Claxton Wright all of Minneapolis, MN. Linda Joy Clayborne in Iowa. Shyra Wright, Deondre Williams, Tina Williams, Claxton Harmon Williams III and Eric Williams from Illinois, Anthony Sykes from Oklahoma, Tory Ross and Luv (Carmen) Nettles both in California and her son Adam Isaiah Williams currently residing in Indianapolis IN, and many close friends and loved ones.


A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday May 6,2022 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
