How'ki Tools Obituary

How'ki Ashaad Ramel Tools, 38, transitioned to his eternal home on Tuesday, March 04, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, in St Louis, Missouri. How'Ki was born on October 29, 1986 to Cynthia (Tools) Coffey of Danville, IL.

He is best described as a jack of all trades. He was a great chef, at many of the restaurants we eat at today. If his mind was set to do it, then that's what it was. He enjoyed listening to music and was very tech savy. What he loved most, was to make memories with those that love him.

How'Ki was an excellent father to his son and best friend Ta'Ki Tools, who he cherished most.

How'Ki was supportive of his friends and family. He enjoyed making others laugh. How'Ki was selfless and would even give his last to those in need. He is the core meaning of a truly ambitious individual. He would always strive to become a better person. He would also encourage other's to be better than the person they were yesterday.

How'Ki was preceded in death by his brother Myron Tools, and leaves to cherish his memories, step dad Larry Coffey, brothers and sisters NeKisha Tools, Jason Tools (Roselynn Tools), LaRisha Coffey, DyNisha Tools, Lorenzo Davis, Tyisha Davis, Ty'Jhai Davis, Nicholas Mockabee, Desmand Mockabee. Amazing friend, Tamicka Chapman, and mother of Ta'Ki Tools, and a special Godmother Gina Ford and extended relatives and friends.

If living is hard, and dying is easy, Why does it hurt, when loved ones leave me? There were no goodbyes, or see you later. Am I to accept it, because you are with the Creator? What is the point in all of this? What are the lessons? Live life to the fullest. And count your blessings.

Cherish your family, and value your friends. Living up to your best, is part of the plan. Life is precious, and good times must end. Make more memories with the ones you love. Laugh more, smile more, give more hugs.

Eventually the pain will go away. Until then, we reminisce, and celebrate. For this is only a temporary separation. One day our spirits get to meet again, at the special destination.

For now, patience is a virtue. And together, this is something we will work through. Irreplaceable, you'll always have your spot. How'Ki you are forever in our hearts and thoughts.
