Harren Borden Obituary

Harren Rose Hall was born in Montgomery, Alabama on November 14, 1952, to Samuel and Isadora Hall, who proceeded her in death.

As an adolescent Harren moved to Pompano Beach, Florida where she attended Ely High School.  In 1969 she married the love of her life Alfonzo Borden.  Together they raised 7 children.

Harren was a Humanitarian who gave the most of herself even when she felt like she had nothing left to give.  Her forgiving and loving nature allowed her to see the best in people when the world could see nothing but faults.  To so many people she was a beacon of light.  Harren was truly a ROSE amongst daisies.

Harren departed this life, but never from our hearts on Tuesday January 3, 2023.  Harren was proceeded in death by her loving husband Alfonzo, her baby girl Alesha Borden, and two brothers Alvin and Walter Hall.

Harren leaves to cherish her loving memories, foursons Stacie (Najwa) of Ford of Cordele, GA, Alonzo (JacQuita), Anthony (Monica) of Danville, IL, and Arenzo (Alicia) of Marion, IN, two daughters Jackie Borden-McFadden-Rodgers of Pompano Beach, Florida and Aletha Borden of Tampa, FL. 39grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  Two brothers Samuel Hall (Mary) Bernard Hall both of Kokomo, IN.  Two Sisters Alberta (Joe) of Chicago, IL and Aronetta (Lee) of Harvey, IL, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will commence at 12:00 noon Wednesday January 11, 2023 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams, Danville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
