Gloria Ann Spearman

Gloria Ann Spearman, 63 of Urbana passed this life on March 12, 2023. She was born on February 2, 1960, to Luther Spearman, Sr., and Lucille Benson in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. Gloria was the second oldest of six children, Glen E. Welch, Sr., Joe Nathan Spearman, Luther Spearman, Jr., Rickey Spearman, and Lylton Eugene Spearman.

Growing up, Gloria attended Loda Elementary School, Buckley High School, and Parkland College, where she received an associate degree. For 35-plus years, Gloria worked as a CNA for both Christie Clinic and Carle Hospital. She enjoyed working and taking care of her patients.  She also enjoyed cooking, playing with her grandchildren, taking care of the plants around the house, as well as going out on long rides in the car.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories with her three children, Jermaine Spearman, Alesa Spearman, and Tarrie Monroe. Seven grandchildren Nylese Spearman- Campbell, Nilae Spearman- Campbell, Luca Monroe, Micah Trent, Elijah Trent, Sara Sowka, and Shayla Sullivan. A niece Latoya Patton and a nephew Joe Spearman. As well as a close cousin who was like a sister to her Linda Willoughby.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Leek & Sons Funeral Home, 1215 W. Bradley Ave, Urbana, IL 61801.
