Glenda Gene Robinson

Glenda Gene Robinson, affectionately known as “Dunnda,” age 69, of Champaign, Illinois, formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, November 14, 2025

Glenda was born on June 10th, 1956, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, the beloved daughter of the late Odessa Robinson-Landfair and Richard “Eddie” Joyner.

Glenda, known to many simply as Dunnda, had a remarkable presence that filled every room she entered. Her joyful spirit, radiant personality, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who came in contact with her. She loved wholeheartedly—with both warmth and discipline—and embodied the true meaning of generosity. Glenda was a natural comforter, a steady guide, and above all, a giver. Her joy came from sharing with others, blessing those around her, and spending cherished moments with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her passion for collecting special items only deepened her delight in giving them away to bring happiness to others.

Glenda leaves to forever treasure her memory her children—a daughter, Rasheen (Henry) Robinson-Bailey; and two sons, Davey Shaw and Daxtrell Robinson; Her sisters, Bobbie Landfair, Sonya Landfair, and Melony Blalock; her brother, Ranterris Landfair; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal and paternal grandparents; two sisters; two brothers; and many other loved ones who are deeply missed—just as she will be.

Glenda’s legacy of love, strength, generosity, and faith will continue to shine through all those whose lives she touched. Her presence will be missed, yet her memory will remain a blessing forever.

A Memorial service will commence at 12:00 Noon Saturday December 6, 2025 at Leek  & Sons Funeral Home, 304 E. Williams St. Danville
