Geraldine Seward

Geraldine Seward 78, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 26, 2021. 

Geraldine was born July 28, 1942, in Uniontown, Kentucky to the late Alfonso and Mary E Cox.

She was loved and respected by her family and friends.  She enjoyed sewing, playing bingo and pinnacle.  She loved her only sibling, her sister Mrs Phyllis Rosemand.

Geraldine accepted Christ at an early age and attended Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Courtney Watson. She also, attended Van Burean Missionary Baptist Church in Gary, IN.

Geraldine leaves to Cherish her memory her five children, Delmarro Cowen of Gary IN, Carlotta (Robert) Warner of Decatur GA, Wilbert (Barb) Kindle of Danville, IL, Lamar (Lulu), of Erie PA, and Wilford (Michelle) Smith of Danville

Two nieces Marcia Donnie Newell and LaTanya Newell Indianapolis, IN and two nephews Todd Newell of Indianapolis IN and Keith Rosemand of Gary IN.

She had special friends near and dear to heart  Celeste Brown, Mary Hill, Edna Coleman, and Patty Liggins. A birthday sister Ms Barbara Hill. A special son Anthony Muk Owens

Preceding Geraldine in death her parents, her husband George Seward  her Sister Betty Newell.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon on Thursday July 1, 2021 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Eulogist: Pastor Courtney Watson. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after services at Spring Hill Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville from 1:00pm until 5:00 pm.
