Frank Orlandis Williams went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday October 12th 2025. Frank was born on May 8th, 1935, in Danville Il. He was the son of Amos Williams and Sara Bibbs. Frank attended Danville schools and became employed with Danville School District #118 from which he retired after 35 years. Frank was also employed at St Pauls Catholic school and the David S. Palmer Civic Center for many years. He (http://years.he/) also served on the City of Danville Human Relations Commision for over 10 years. Frank later married Martha Randle and to that union five children were born. Myron Williams, Kim Neill, Eric Williams (Gilda), John Williams and Steven Williams Sr (Jennifer). On May 23 2004 Frank Married Linda Ball adding four step children to that union. Julia Thomas (Calvin) Ronald Ball Jr. (Jenn), Sarah Antunes and Thomas Ball (Michaela).
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by Martha Williams, two brothers John and Amos Jr., two sisters Nora Rice and Francis Jackson, one Son Myron Williams, one son in law John Neill, one niece Nytria Parker and one nephew Aaron Williams.
Frank was a member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Frank was a role model to the many students that passed through Danville High School. He loved his job, the students and the staff and they loved him. His kind demeanor and pleasant smile won over the hearts of many. This year on his 90th birthday the Mayor proclaimed it Frank Williams Day for his many contributions to the Danville Community. He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda, their 8 children, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, a special niece Jeanie Frison, special friends Bishop Franklin Bourn and family, two very special young men step Grandson Michael P Antunes IV and Andrew Siefert.
A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 Noon October 21, 2025 at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Danville. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
