Our beloved Ezra Avant Adams departed on November 27, 2024. He was born on February 20, 2007 to Asia DeNeal and Myron Adams Sr. Ezra loved rapping, playing the game, and joking around. Ezra was an extraordinary uncle to his nieces and nephews. He loved playing basketball and football with his friends. Ezra was highly intelligent and very outspoken. He ain’t take no mess from nobody!!! He was always respectful and helped out as much as he could (for a fee, lol). Ezra attended Danville High School as a honor student and had plans on graduating class of 2025. Ezra was the baby for a long time and he knew how to use that to his advantage. He was very spoiled and loved deeply. His smile was immense, would light up the whole room. Ezra was young but very wise, some would say he had an “old soul”.
Ezra’s surviving family members are his grandmother Yvonne DeNeal, father Myron Adams Sr., siblings Chasity Wright, Mariah Adams, Myron Adams II, and Scott Adams, a special cousin Duane Cunningham II, his nieces (Carmyn Lately, Mya Adams, and Te’Rai Brown) , nephews (Tyren Brown, Myron Adams lll, Jeremiaha DNeal Jr, Malichi DNeal, and Mason Adams), cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
Ezra was proceeded in death by his grandfather Claude McKissack Sr., his grandmother Mary Ann Dabney, his mother Asia DeNeal, His brother Jeremiaha DeNeal (LLJD), and His uncle Claude McKissack Jr.
A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 noon December 9, 2024 at New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Interment: Springhill Cemetery.
