Edward Eugene Buford

Edward Eugene Buford passed this life on April 6, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana IL. Whit as he was known by his family was born May 20, 1954 to Orville and Shirley Buford.

Edward attended Danville schools and had several jobs including R&S Printing Co., CCL, and Mastergaurd for many years.

Edward loved to fish and loved collecting hats. Ed was the life of the party and never met a stranger. He would make people talk even if they didn’t want to. Edward loved his family and friends but most of all he loved the lord.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories with his wife Mandee and his one and only daughter MyLee, his brother Orville Buford Jr., Four sisters; Pamela Buford, Martha Buford, Deborah Buford, and Celeste Buford. He also leaves behind his brother in law Shawn (Tricia) Peterson, sister in law Lindsee (Jordan) Decker, and father in law Harvey (Dorothy) Bonomo. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His two fur babies Bentlee and Baylee who was always by his side.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Kevin Buford, his sister Sylvia Buford, grandparents John and Helen Buford and Clarence and Martha Hall, and mother in law Bonnie Lane.

A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Wednesday April 13, 2022 at Saint Synagogue Church of God in Christ, 2605 E. Main St., Danville. Eulogist: Darrell Hunter. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Springhill Cemetery.
