Edward was born Edward Brown( loving known as Brencie) on August 18,1953 in Lilbourn,MO.
He was the third oldest of eight children that consisted of six sons and two daughters born unto parents Charlie Brown and Odessa Ross.
From an early age Edward learned the value of hard work. Working in the fields as early as nine yrs old! He would go on to attend Cairo Public Schools for his Elementary and High School education. Edward earned a High School Diploma in 1972. However, shortly after graduating Edward found himself in a bit of trouble which caused him to be incarcerated. This would be the turning point in his life. While incarcerated he met the Love of his life Frances Whitney. Just one year later Edward and Frances would go on to make their union official by marrying November 9, 1974. To that union six children were born. They would remain married until his departure.
Early life for the Brown family began in Cairo IL, but they would soon migrate North to settle in Champaign County. Here, Edward would find work in multiple fields but would ultimately retire from FlexNGate due to a back injury.
Edward was a boisterous, tell it like it is man. He lived life on his own terms in a True Leo way.
He loved money, cars, and fashion. He loved to joke and talk smack! Most importantly he loved God. Always seeking the Truth. Edward would study the Bible continuously.
