Damon J. Williams

Our beloved, Damon J. Williams departed on July 24, 2023 in Danville IL, He was born on October 17, 1983 in San Bernadi- no, CA to Irene Williams and Claxton Harmon Williams II.
Damon (also known as Adam), was one of the Comedians in the Family. Everyone knew him as the family clown, the one who would send everyone a cash app request for one of his famous cakes, Mr. Go-Getter (Make It Happen), the one who could light up the room with just his smile and the sound of his laugh. He knew how to pull on everyone's heartstrings to get his way. He was the baby boy of the family but in real life our little Soldier. He was a man of no regrets; he lived and walked in his truth and was unapologetically him. He knew what to say, when to say it, and knew how to get on your last nerve (Jk) but still make you want to love on him. He loved his children; his legacy of his good will live through them.
Adam’s surviving family members are his mother, Irene Wil- liams; siblings, Mis (Tychin) Spencer, Tia Williams, Claxton Wright IIII (Scooter), Linda Joy (Terrill) Clayburne, Shyra Wright, Claxton Harmon Williams III, Eric Williams, Anthony Sykes, Tory (Martin) Ross, Faustina Williams and Luv (Carmen) Nettles; son, Damon Williams; daughter, Ayress Williams; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that loved him.

Adam was proceeded in death by his father, Claxton Harmon Williams II; brothers, Derrick Williams and De’Andre Williams; and, sister, Irene Williams.
Adam will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest Easy Lil’ Adam.

A celebration of life will commence at 12:00 Noon Wednesday August 9, 2023 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E. Williams St., Danville. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
