Obituary

Christopher was born March 4, 1963 in Danville Illinois to Helen Borkan and Carl Moffett.

 

Chris was a wonderful person. He loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time. He loved old western movies. Chris worked for Mervis industrial for 15+ years. He was a very hard-working man. He made sure his family did not go without.

 

Chris leaves to cherish his former wife Lorraine McGrown of danville. Three daughters, Breya Mcgrown, Javonda Mcgrown and Catherine Mcgrown, three sons, Damyen Mcgrown, Jesse, Mcgrown and (his heart) Matthew Mcgrown of Danville, Illinois. His father, Carl Moffett of Joliet, Illinois three sisters, Carmen Lockhart and Detra (Mike) Alexander of Joliet Illinois. Annette, Marie Hunt of Danville, two brothers, Danny hunt and Stanly Hunt of Danville. 19 grand children, and one great grandson  Adonis Boyd of Danville.

 

Chris was proceeded in death by his mother, Helen Borkan, his two sisters, Velma, Hunt, and Bernice (George) Black.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon on Thursday April 6, 2023 at Leek & Sons Funeral Home 304 E.Williams St., Danville.
