Carol Ann Smith

Carol Ann Smith 60, passed away on August 20, 2023 in Danville IL. Carol was born on March 25, 1963 in Danville, IL., to Melvin W. Smith Sr. and Cordelia Smith Buchanan. She attended Washington School and later attended Danville High School. She was a member of Second Baptist Church then Grace Community Church.

Carol is survived by one sister Verna Elizabeth Smith, two step sisters Georgia Pittman, and Angel (Rodney) Teague, step brothers; Morris Williams, Maurice Williams, William Williams, Nephews; Richard Gaines, Jason McGrown, a niece Jennifer McGrown, a great nephew Gonte McGrown,  two great nieces, Keyshia Lillard and Michel Crawley.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, step mother Shirley Smith, a brother Melvin W. Smith Jr., Ronald Smith, a step sister Deborah Williams, and a nephew Terry Gaines. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
