Bryson Walker

Bryson Walker was born on September 3, 1993 in Champaign, Illinois. “B” as we affectionately called him, was born to Diane Walker and Sylvester Walker, Sr. Bryson received his education in Champaign and Rantoul, Illinois. “B” worked at Meijer in Champaign, Illinois and started his own security business in 2020 in Champaign, IL.

He decided after taking a couple of jobs working for someone else he would start his own security service for the surrounding area. “B” loved his jobs, you could often find him at one or the other or hanging with friends and family. “B” loved his family, he also loved to tell jokes and was famous for his 2 step when playing around. “B” loved to dress to impress. He loved to eat, travel, watch movies and play video games. “B” loved to show off his skills at the gun range. If “B” told you he was coming to help out you better believe he would be there. “B” loved those he loved.

To know “B” was to love him. When he came into a room he would have you smiling or balled over laughing within minutes of him entering that room. “B” was dependable, loving, a protector, and a jokester. “B” transitioned on August 7, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Donnie Mae Walker; grandfather, Henry Walker; maternal grandfather, Willie Hurd; and sister, Erica Hurd.

“B” leaves to cherish his memory: his unborn daughter, Bry’ele Nova Walker; bonus daughter, Mah’kyla Johnson; god-daughter, Kamora McDonald; his mother, Diane Walker; his father, Sylvester (Angelique) Walker Sr.; Grandmother, Dorothy Hurd of Bakersfield, CA; brothers, Von Jones of Clearwater, FL, Sylvester (Christina) Walker Jr. of Champaign, IL, Randy (Niesha) Walker of Champaign, IL, Henry Walker of Champaign, IL, Karlos Winston of Chesapeake, VA, Terrence Butler of Champaign, IL; sisters, Shantisha Walker of Indianapolis, IN, LaShanda Johnson of Urbana, IL, Tiffany Johnson of Clearwater, FL, Nicole Nieves of Champaign, IL, and Simone Robinson of Springfield, IL; Bestfriend/Cousin, DeAndre (Dre) Newbill of Champaign, IL; best-friend, Sharoneka JonesBurke of Champaign, IL; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as, great nieces and nephews; and, a host of friends and family whom he loved and cherished dearly.

A Celebration of Life will commence at 12:00 Noon on Friday August 19, 2022 at The Church of The Living God 312 E. Bradley Ave. Eulogist: Bishop L. Gwin. A visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow after at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
