Brittany Janelle Anglin

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Brittany Janelle Anglin, 26, born on July 15, 1997 at United Samaritans Hospital in Danville,IL. She tragically left us too soon on March 30th, of 2024. Brittany was a beacon of light who nourished the souls of everyone around her with her sweet, kind hearted, determined, and smart personality. 

Brittany leaves behind her beloved sister, Maya Anglin, and her loving father, Keith Anglin, and her beloved niece Alaya F. Crose. She was warmly welcomed into the next life by her mother, Diana Anglin (Kemp), and her grandmother, Shirley Kemp (Martin). She is also survived by her doting grandmother, Armenthia Anglin who will forever cherish the fond memories of Brittany.

An alumni of Danville High School, Brittany graduated in 2016, carrying with her a resolve to make her world a better place. She participated in the AMBUS program in Danville. And joined a club in high school called “We can do anything”.  Despite the loss of her mother Diana in 2014, Brittany maintained a strength of character that was truly admirable.

Brittany turned the simple pleasures in life into cherished moments. She had a fondness for Ribs with lots of BBQ sauce and ice cold strawberry lemonade. She loved reading and writing in her spare time. With her favorite book being Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.

She loved listening to music, with a preference for Usher, Taylor Swift, and H.E.R. Her choice in television reflected her vibrant personality, taking joy in shows such as Big Bang Theory, Friends, and Last Man Standing. Among her favorite movies was 'Daddy's Home 2'. A simple pleasure she held dear was watching performances by Usher. She held Savannah, GA close to her heart as her favorite vacation spot to look out into the ocean. She loved to shop for Michael Kors and Coach bags. With Five Below and Bath and Body Works being her favorite local shops. 

She cared deeply about her family and friends, a cause that remained close to her heart throughout her life. The world will seem a little less bright without Brittany. 

A viewing in honor of Brittany will be held at the New Life Church of Faith 1419 N. Bowman Ave. on Friday April 12, 2024, at 11:00 am. Funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Burial will follow after at Spring Hill Cemetery. All who knew and loved Brittany are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
