Bobby Morton Jr, 66, of Danville, passed this life at 2:45 PM on May 10, 2026, in his home.. Bobby was born on March 22, 1960, in Danville, IL, the son of Bobby and Mary(Hurt) Morton Sr.. He married Tina Warner, of Anderson IN, and this union produced 1 son, Daniel Morton, 1 step-daughter, Jametra Wheeler, 1 step-son Jarvis L. Phipps, and 3 grand children.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Morton of Danville, IL his sister Debra Swafford(Sherrod) of Danville, IL, and his brother Cory Morton of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Bobby is preceded in death by his father Bobby Morton Sr; and 3 sisters, Carolyn Morton, Charlesetta(Tina) Morton, and Stormi Morton.
Bobby attended Danville schools, and did lots of work with Truman Keys and Vincent Clark. As a child, he was baptized in Union Baptist Church by Rev. Cecil Webb.
Bobby had a great of gold and loved to help people. You could always find him doing any odd jobs for people, and he had a love for washing cars. The first thing you always noticed about lil Bobby was his big smile. Bobby joined Allen Chapel in 2026.
A Homegoing Celebration will commence at 12:00 Noon Thursday May 21, 2026, at New Life Church of Faith, 1419 N. Bowman Ave. Danville. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Sanhill Memorial Park
